IMHX 2019 24V DRIVEN ROLLER CONVEYOR INTEGRATION WITH DAIFUKU/WEBB AGC
For IMHX 2019 at the NEC Birmingham UK, Pro Handling Solutions provided a 24v Roller Conveyor System to Daifuku/Webb for integration with their AGC Smart Cart. The system was the first in the UK to Utilise the NDW 24v Driven Roller System, controlled by the NDW UTC System. An envelope pushing technology which allows the user to programme the conveyor system graphically, without the need for a PLC. Using the any Web-based device (Tablet, Mobile Phone or PC) a graphical interface allows you to drag in and out equipment to build a 'system' which is then fully configurable with regards to speeds, directions etc. For more information please visit the NDW section of our Website.
The system consisted of 2 AGC Smart Carts with a 24v Poly V Roller Bed. The Roller Bed is powered and controlled by the AGC via the NDW Circuit Board. The AGC deposits the Plastic Bin onto a loop of conveyor inside the Daifuku VR Room. In the VR Customers were able to see them selves in a Daifuku High Bay Crane Warehouse. The Zero Line Pressure Conveyor indexed the boxes through the VR Room and are collected by the AGC and returned round the Loop. The 2nd AGC was able to collect a Plastic Bin from the First AGC and deliver to a Gravity Storage Rack. This was just a basic example of the control and application available with the Diafuku/Webb AGC. Full examples can be found at Daifuku/Webb Website and in their Demonstration facility in Milton Keynes UK.
